How to create a cash invoice for an account customer

If an account customer wants to pay for an invoice on the spot rather than putting it onto their account you can change the invoice type from Account to Cash.

 

1. Create the invoice as per normal, once you have selected the customer and added the vehicle details (if applicable), click on the toggle underneath Account Type to change it from the default ACCOUNT to CASH.

 

 

 

2. Once you have entered all the relevant information on to the invoice and have clicked 'Process' the invoice will process as a cash invoice and will ask for details of payment, enter the payment method and click the blue 'Process' button.

 

 

Please note: Changing the Account Type can be done at any time prior to processing the invoice.

 

All future invoices for the customer will still default the Account Type to ACCOUNT and any invoices processed as CASH for an account customer will not contribute to their outstanding balances.
