How to locate a booking if you have forgotten the booking date

The purpose of this article is to show you how to locate a booking if you have closed it and cannot remember the original date.

 

Take this scenario: You may a vehicle sitting in the workshop that is waiting for parts. The booking was weeks ago as these are rare parts that you had to source internationally. You get word that the parts are due to arrive next Tuesday. Now you want to allocate time in the booking diary the for the following day, being Wednesday. To book this time out you need to now how to final the original booking. Because the original booking was weeks ago you can't remember. 

 

All you need to do is find the customer that owns the vehicle you are working on. 

 

At the bottom of the customer's profile, the is a tab for Bookings.

 

 

 What if you don't know the customer's name? - If you don't know the customer's name, you can find it through the vehicle.

Click on the customer's name and it will bring up all details pertaining to that customer

 

 

You can do the same from the job as well.
